Histology platform
Short description
The histology platform provides histological preparation and analysis services for biological samples, at cost price. From tissue fixation, standard and special stainings to in situ visualization of proteins-of-interest (immunohistochemistry, immunofluorescence) or nucleic acids (in situ, chromogenic or fluorescent hybridization), the platform enables researchers who frequent it to train and work in semi-autonomy on their samples. A technical team provides support in designing the project upstream and advising the researcher throughout the process, up to optical microscopy observation if necessary. The platform includes a motorized epifluorescence microscope (Olympus BX63) as well as the CellSens Dimension image analysis software, and table microscopes, all equipped with cameras. Access to the facilities is done in agreement with the technical manager, according to internal rules and booking of the requested equipment.
