Evelyne Daubie - Researcher, University of Mons, Belgium

Topic: Particle physics

Evelyne Daubie's latest research involves studying the interaction and detection of ionizing radiation in silicon-based devices, in close collaboration with the Electronics and Microelectronics Units at the Faculty of Engineering. She is currently working on reconstructing the historical radiation measurement experiment conducted by Pierre and Marie Curie using a quadrant electrometer.  More about Evelyne Daubie...

Eléonore Robinson | Faculty EMCP, University of Namur, Belgium

Topic : Sociology

Éléonore is a teaching assistant and PhD student in sociology. She specializes in gender studies and the sociology of labour. For her thesis, she investigates how social representations and professional socialization in the IT sector tend to exclude women and older workers. She earned her bachelor’s in sociology and anthropology, specializing in environment and development. In 2019, she received her master’s degree in sociology. Her master’s thesis was about the Lack of diversity in the IT sector: Configurations of singular career paths for women.

Valentina Spampinato | Department of Physical Chemistry, University of Catania, Italy
