A PhD is not enough ... How to prepare for a career in academia by Prof. Petra Rudolf
The workshop talks about the steps after a PhD or a post doctorate that one can partake in order to get a permanent position in academia. The talk is given by acclaimed solid state physicists Professor Petra Rudolf (University of Groningen, NL) who also is a UNamur alumnae.
Prof Rudolf will discuss what a young researcher needs to achieve in her/his postdoctoral period and what consequently s/he has to consider in making his/her choice where to go (place, topic, type of supervisor,…).
